Welcome to Hotel Masia del Montseny

Hotel Masia del Montseny, nestled in the heart of Viladrau, Girona, offers a dining experience that feels both genuine and warmly inviting. With a solid 4.5-star rating, this hotel restaurant is celebrated not just for its authentic Catalan cuisine but also for the ambiance that feels like a cozy embrace after a day of hiking or sightseeing.

Guests continually praise the well-crafted menus, which skillfully balance tradition and thoughtful accommodation. Whether it’s Laia’s delight in the extensive variety—catering thoughtfully to vegans and those with intolerances—or Danielle’s appreciation of the surprise vegetarian menu, it’s clear the staff take pride in personalizing the experience. The fixed menus, priced reasonably between €15 and €24, deliver generous portions of home-style dishes, enhanced by quality local wines, gluten-free bread options, and aromatic coffees that round out the meals.

The charm of Hotel Masia del Montseny extends beyond its plates. The building’s historic character and lush garden create a refreshing atmosphere where one can relax and savor every bite. Ephraim’s reflection on the "homely" ambience and stunning views perfectly encapsulates the feeling of dining here: simple yet profound, wholesome and bursting with flavor.

More than just a place to eat, it is a culinary refuge that respects deep-rooted Catalan traditions while embracing the needs of modern diners. The friendly, attentive staff, as noted by many visitors, turn an ordinary meal into a memorable experience. Their expertise in handling dietary requirements and their genuine hospitality make each visit feel like coming home.

It was such a wonderful experience both culinary and visual. The menu costs 24€ on Saturdays but it is worth every penny. As you can see, it has a huge range of dishes and the waiting staff are very helpful when in case of someone's having intolerances or being vegan. The wine, the bread (also gluten-free and of good quality!) and the coffees are a good perk! We will surely repeat.

Excellent place! If you are around, don’t hesitate and get in. We had lunch which is based on a fixed menu. First, main, desert, drink and great service for just 15 Euro (per person). Quality of the food is great but this is only one part- the beautiful building and garden make it great experience.

Fantasic place to eat as a vegetarian. There were a few options on the main menu but when we requested something without meat the waiter suddenly produced a complete vegetarian menu. THANK YOU!!!!!!!! The food was delicious and the staff very nice. A great place to eat.

Nice, authentic restaurant with very tasty food. Original Catalán dishes. Recomandable. And in the summer a perfect garden to have dinner. Every time we come here it seems better than the time before
